PubCoDB

Connect

Use one PubCoDB account in every client.

MCP server

Add the server URL to a supported client, then complete the standard browser sign-in. The client receives access to your PubCoDB account; it does not receive your password or email code.

Account and usage

  1. Choose your client above and start its setup.
  2. Complete sign-in when the client opens PubCoDB in your browser.
  3. Use the same account sign-in when each client opens the authorization page.

Your account, plan, monthly allowance, API keys, and watchlists are shared across connections. The free beta includes 100 successful research calls per calendar month and resets on the first at 00:00 UTC. Discovery, account status, dataset metadata, and watchlists do not consume that allowance.

What is available

Core access covers company and filing discovery plus filing news, general news, earnings reports, transcript summaries, and transcript insights. Structured data is experimental: the current catalog contains 54 US and Japan dataset schemas with limited support. Filing-scoped XBRL is also experimental and selective.

Check published coverage and the result's availability fields. A listed tool or dataset schema does not mean every company, filing, or period has data.

Troubleshooting

  • If a client says authentication is required, reopen its connection settings and sign in.
  • If access was revoked, authenticate the existing connection again. Avoid adding a second copy.
  • API keys are shown once. Revoke a lost key and create a replacement in Account.
  • Use research_help before a research call when you need the tool workflow.
